Cambridge Cluster Insights is a public data resource published by Cambridge Ahead that tracks companies located within a 20-mile radius of the centre of Cambridge. Its interactive dashboard is a common source for headline figures about the size and growth of the Cambridge cluster.

In September 2026 the dashboard showed 25,872 companies, a total turnover of £53 billion and 220,951 employees, and described the area as Europe's most intense science and technology cluster. It also reports figures by sector, such as life sciences and IT and telecoms, and includes a cluster map of groups of companies. The site publishes its methodology, and academic researchers can request access to the underlying data.
