Tell Cambridge Society about your event
An exhibition, a concert, a reading, a talk, a screening or a launch in Cambridge: tell us about it. We write about what is happening in the city and pass it on to our members and readers. Organisers who would like the Society's support for an event are welcome to ask.
A college chapel, a gallery on a side street or a lecture room on the Science Park: tell us where it is and we will know who to tell.
One event in Cambridge
Send the date, the venue, a booking link and two sentences about what people will see or hear. Three to six weeks ahead is best; a week ahead is often too late.
A tour or a series
If Cambridge is one stop of a music tour, a book tour or a run of exhibitions, say so and list the other cities and dates. You write once: we pass it to the Societies in the other cities on your route.
Building an audience here
Planning a first show in Cambridge, or a season of work here? Tell us what you do and when you will be in the city. We will say plainly what we can do: a listing, a note to members, or an introduction to a venue or a host.
What helps us
- The name of the event, the dates and the times.
- The venue with its address, and whether entry is free or ticketed.
- One link where people can book or read more.
- One image you have the right to share, with a credit. You can send it by email after we reply.
- Who is organising it and how to reach you.
There is no charge for telling us about an event or for a listing. A person reads every message and we reply within two working days.
Other cities. The Societies work in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Manchester and Oxford. If your plans include any of them, mention it in the form below.
